My name is Abby Nordeen & I am so eager to be graduating with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing in a few weeks from Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Here you will find my ePortfolio that I have created as a reflection of my time in the pre-Licensure Nursing Program here at MNSU, Mankato. You will find the outcomes correlated with my program and assignments that have demonstrated how I have met those objectives.
Along with each objective and assignment, I hope you will see how each area has truly influenced and molded me into the person I am today, and the nurse I long to become. It is my dream to become a nurse who is there for her patients and families along their journeys, during their most difficult times, and to provide them with the love, hope, and security they need each step of the way.
Minnesota State has provided me with so many opportunities and experiences, along with so much knowledge, that I am beyond eager to get into my practice and spend my days caring for people who need it the most. Because of this program, I am ready and prepared to go above and beyond for not only my patient, but also their family. I will be my patient’s advocate in every way possible and be their number one support along the way. I cannot thank this program enough for all it has given to me and taught me.
I have just finished up my final capstone clinical experience on the Surgical/Trauma Intensive Care Unit at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. After graduation, I am beginning my dream job of being a hematology/oncology nurse at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN; I cannot wait to take all I have learned into practice to influence the lives of many.
